While cycling through Malawi the Wild Dog came in very clearly as something to sculpt and make art with. Months of cycling and drawing later the first one was sculpted looking over the Robberg peninsula from Keurboomstrand and then the second looking over the Cape peninsula from Kalk Bay. Before being able to finish these two sculptures though, I was blessed to connect with them in the flesh in the special place that is the Timbavati in Mpumalanga.
